KasiOrder — takeaway ordering for South African kitchens
A multi-tenant ordering platform for local takeaways — 22 workers behind one typed RPC mesh, in active development.
The problem
Small South African takeaways take orders through WhatsApp chaos or hand a commission to delivery platforms on every sale. They need their own ordering channel at a price a kasi kitchen can justify.
The approach
A multi-tenant SaaS from day one: one platform, many stores, each with its own menu, orders, and settings. The backend is 22 Cloudflare Workers connected by typed RPC — every service boundary is a TypeScript interface, so the mesh refactors safely as the product grows.
The outcome
In active development. The architecture — multi-tenant data model, typed worker mesh — is the part that had to be right first, and it is.
